Objectives

Design, manufacturing, assembly, erection, testing, commissioning and monitoring of Lahti WtE demonstration plant.

The demonstration part consists of gasifier train 1, which is the most innovative part of complete WtE plant. The scale of demonstration is large (capacity of gasifier train 1 is 80 MWth and the whole plant 160 MWth) and it represents technology, in which different components have to be fitted smoothly together to form one integrated and complete process (WtE plant).
